Fresh New Bitcoin Scam

Hopefully this one won't last long, or the FBI shuts the site down redirecting it to it's new, and more proper domain name, eBitDontInvest.com. This one is pathetic, but fortunately there are plenty of warning signs that it's a scam, so we've decide to point them out.

Bring On The Cheese!

We've all been up at 3am flipping through channels and landing on infomercial after infomercial, and wondering to ourselves "who in the hell watches this stuff", as we watch that stuff, since there is nothing else on. eBitInvest.com is a bad infomercial without the info, so infested with cheese, it's hard to stop laughing long enough to evaluate the many things that make it so very apparent there is a black hole of no return for your Bitcoins.

Of course he's smiling! He has your money!
Anything that opens up with the goofy sales slug on the front page with money flying all around as if he just had his number called in last night lottery drawing is already off to a bad start, and it doesn't get any better, so let's just get it out of the way:

EBITINVEST.COM IS A SCAM

Here's why: All of the things that would grant credibility to any organization, denounces this non-organization almost instantly.

Let's evaluate:

Upon getting past the laughter of Mr. Lotto, you'll find these fine items implied, or directly stated.

  1. Global Presence. Offices in Seattle Washington, Hong Kong, and London. Quack.

  1. Registered Trademark. Well it must be real then! It's got a ® after the name.

  1. The website is up and running, and functional, with all of this fantastic information!

  1. There's a page full of customer "testimonials". Quack. Quack.

At first glance (this is assuming the cheese didn't tip you off), one might see all of the above and think:

maybe there's something to this, I could toss 0.01 (about $3 at press time) up there and check it out.

Well let me tell you, that's EXACTLY what they are counting on! If they get a few thousand people "hooked" before this falls of the map, then that's a bit of cheddar!

My advice? Don't do it.

Not because you can't afford $3 just to "see", but because $3 adds up, and the more these folks are enabled, the better these sites are going to get, and the more people they are going to rip off, because that is what they are doing.

In FACT, this may well be the very scam itself, to lure in skeptics to prove it a scam by tossing in the 0.01. It's plausible, considering the cheese, and ease of interpretation.

If It Walks Like A Duck

Here's the problem folks. For starters, the "global presence" is a sham. Their US headquarters office is listed as:

Seattle, WA
999 Third Ave., 11th Floor
Seattle, WA 98104, USA

The prestigious Wells Fargo Tower in Downtown Seattle, and the entire floor 11. WOW! Not too shabby. Except for the fact that Wells Fargo themselves occupy the 11th floor of their building.

Check it out for yourselves: Well Fargo Offices

The Wells Fargo Center

Second, the registered trademark. Isn't a registered trademark. We researched this with the Federal Registration and Patent Office of the United States of America. There is no record, nor trademark, that exists. Shocker there!

Third, yes the website is up, and cheesy, but the cheese doesn't make it a scam. This does:

So it looks like the man behind this scam may be Adam Loewe (See Registrant Above), but then again, that is likely a fake name, or a name of someone who has no clue he or she has been used to register this website.

Of course here a review (one of many) from an individual who managed to travel back in time, just to tell us how great this service is:

01/01.2015 - Hanns Wolters- (Austria)I had to contact to change my Bitcoin address - waited on hold for about 90 seconds and they fixed everything. Very professional and helpful. Their online user interface is very friendly and easy to understand. I am so pleased: NO maximum daily limits, NO fees. Great customer service and super interest rates! My wife and I are so pleased.

In fact 7 of the testimonials predate the sites actual existence, and as long as we're talking details. Washington has no registered company under the name ebitinvest either. We looked, and guess what? Nothing.

  •  Just like this website's service and credibility.

  •  Just like the amount of actual payouts.

  •  Just like what you are going to end up with if you put your money here.

The biggest tell of all? The "double your money in 5 days" claim. Sure, that can happen, but consistently, for all of its customers, regardless of the amount of money invested? Improbable.

eBitInvest.com is a SCAM, and one to completely to avoid.

We'd keep an eye on this, but there's no need, it'll be gone soon and so will your money if you send it there.
