Overstocks CEO Patrick Byrne has announced he will take medical leave indefinitely for Hepatitis C treatment.
Overstock was the first major online retailer to accept bitcoin and its T0 platform is the first SEC approved platform for securities that uses the blockchain.
Acting CEO taking the reigns for Byrne will be Mitch Edwards, former BitTorrent CEO current general counsel of Overstock.com.
