Bitcoin reached $1162.17 on the dinbits.com index earlier today marking the highest point in three years. Previously in January the digital asset reached $1158 marking a previous three year high.

Altcoins
Other digital assets are doing well also, Dash has hit a high of $24.66 and is dominating Ether (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Litecoin (LTC), and beginning to challenge ZCash (ZEC) which is in a slump near $28.
Also note that gold is up and currently at $1341.10. Gold hit a high earlier of $1344.50 marking a rise in value over recent market spots.
